Murder suspect apprehended at top town, Lae City

A murder suspect was on the run until he was spotted by an informant who informed Police. The suspect was allegedly involved with two others in a murder committed in January this year at Kamkumung settlement. The suspect was apprehended by police at Top Town bus stop in Lae, Morobe Province.
According to brief received, it was alleged that the three suspects and the deceased were all drinking steam or home brew together and when they had finished, the three suspects forced the deceased to go buy some more alcohol but when he refused, he was attacked by the three suspects and consequently died from injuries he sustained. All three suspects have been arrested, charged and remanded in custody at Buimo Jail.
